What is a Shopify consignment app?

Do consignor splits calculate automatically for Shopify sales?
Yes. When a consignment item sells through Shopify, ConsignCloud treats it exactly like an in-store sale — the consignor's balance updates and the split calculates automatically based on the terms you've already set. No extra steps, no manual adjustments.
Can I use ConsignCloud's Shopify integration if I only sell online?
Absolutely. ConsignCloud works for online-only consignment stores. You manage inventory and consignor accounts in ConsignCloud, Shopify handles your storefront, and the integration keeps both in sync — no physical location required.
Do you support Shopify variants?
ConsignCloud is designed around unique, single-quantity items — which is how most consignment inventory works. Full variant support isn't available right now. Does store credit or gift card data sync to Shopify?
As of Q1 2026, store credit and gift cards managed within ConsignCloud don't sync to Shopify. If a customer has a ConsignCloud store credit balance, that's redeemed at the point of sale inside ConsignCloud, not through the Shopify checkout. Syncing Shopify store credit gift cards is a highly requested feature so we hope to be adding it soon!
