We heard from a lot of you that our receipts were too long — even “CVS long.” Additionally, they didn’t always make it clear how discounts were applied. Our new default receipt addresses both of these issues and also makes taxes and tax exemptions clearer.

With layaway, you can now let customers pay for their items over time. Set a minimum down payment, choose whether layaways expire, and automatically send reminder emails before they’re due. Enable it now in Next Gen ConsignCloud under Settings → Point of Sale.

Filter the items table however you want — by account, date, price, etc. — and export to a clean, printable PDF with the columns of your choice.

You can now pay out an account in any amount up to the balance owed and these partial payouts will show up on all the relevant reports just like regular payouts.

Email activity has a new look. Visit any email template, click on the activity tab, and see what emails went out and who they were sent to. Click on any row in the table to see more details about when the email was sent, when it was opened, and even the exact content of each email.

ConsignCloud now supports cash rounding to the nearest $0.05, $0.10, or $0.25. Following industry standards, rounding only affects cash payments in the point of sale, with clear line items on receipts and in the Sales Summary report. Set it up today in Settings → Point of Sale.

The shortcuts panel in the Point of Sale is now fully customizable and resizable. Change colors, move shortcuts around, and even create different layouts for different registers. We also heard your feedback and swapped shortcuts to the left-hand side to make it feel more familiar with other POS systems. This update also features snappier performance, item photos in the sale, and notes on parked sales.

If you ever enter a pile of items that are all from the same account or a part of the same category, this one's for you. Now you can lock fields like account, category, tag, or brand to keep the same input across multiple item entries. In the create item form, just hover over the label for the input you want to lock and click the lock icon.
