Batch Entry

When you have a lot of items to add at once — say, a big drop-off from a consignor — Batches let you enter them all in one continuous flow instead of saving one at a time.

Creating a batch

From the Items table, select the Batches tab, then New Batch. Give it a batch name like the Consignor and date, or leave it blank to auto-generate a number. As you add rows, ConsignCloud can copy values from the previous row forward, so you only have to change what's different — great for a stack of similar items.

Reviewing and submitting

Everything you enter is saved automatically as you go, so there's no rush to finish in one sitting. You can even set a batch aside and have another team member come through and work on pricing.

When you're ready, click Review Batch to see a summary; if any items are invalid, you'll get a chance to fix them before submitting. Once everything checks out, click Submit Batch to create the items. And once a batch is submitted you can always come back and add more items to it later.
