Setting up Discounts

Discounts help you run promotions and reward loyal customers, with full control over who absorbs the cost.

Creating a discount

Go to Settings → Discounts → Create New. Choose a fixed amount or percentage, then decide where the discount comes from: the store's portion, the consignor's portion, or shared between both. (Discounts created in an external POS like Shopify or Square can only be shared.)

Rules and scheduled discounts

Add rules so a discount only applies to the right items — all items storewide, a specific category, or items with a certain tag. Tags must be created before the discount, so they're available to select.

You can also schedule a discount to grow automatically the longer an item sits unsold — useful for encouraging turnover on older inventory. Rules and schedules can be combined so specific categories discount more aggressively over time.
