Credit Card Processing (Stripe/Gravity/Non-Integrated)

ConsignCloud gives you flexibility in how you accept cards — you can use one of our integrated partners, or bring your own non-integrated processor.

Integrated processing with Stripe or Gravity

Integrated processing means that when you tap Credit Card at checkout, the terminal lights up, the customer swipes, taps, or dips their card, and the transaction is recorded automatically.

With Stripe, you connect your account from Settings → Point of Sale → Stripe, then register a compatible terminal. Your reader appears automatically in ConsignCloud once it's paired.

With Gravity Payments, you can contact them to get set up at Settings → Point of Sale → Gravity Payments.

Non-integrated processing

If you'd rather use your own card processor, ConsignCloud supports that too, at no extra charge. With a non-integrated setup, your cashier will manually enter the sale total into a separate card terminal after ringing everything up in ConsignCloud. It takes a bit more bookkeeping since the two systems aren't talking to each other automatically, but it gives you the freedom to shop around for your own processing rates.
